Baltimore Police Murders Woman In Front Of 5 Year Old

Baltimore Police arrived at the apartment of Korryn Gaines, 23, to serve a warrant for Gaines and a male who lives in the home in Randallstown. At the time, Gaines was holding a 5 year old kid.

Gaines supposely had warrants for a failure to appear for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest, so could the officers already been prepared to do whatever, since these were Gaines current charges?

It was stated that Gaines was holding a shot gun and a 5 year old kid at the same time, plus took multiple shots at the officers with a long gun. Gaine’s uncle Jerome Barnett, 44, said his niece “was feisty, but she was smart and she was respectful. My niece is a good person; I never knew her to be a rowdy person,” he said.

The male who lived in the home ran with a 1 year old child, but Gaines was left behind and supposedly took shots at the police, after a long back and forth conversation with officers…all while holding a kid and long gun. Is this possible? And who shot the child if she was holding the child and a long gun as stated?

The 5 year old child who was shot is expected to survive, but for right now, it is unknown if the police or Gaines shot the child. How long can incidents like this continue to happened before there is a real war between police and American Citizens?
